Clustering Creative and Critical Thinking in the ClassroomDr. Donald Treffinger

This workshop will focus on classroom applications for talent development. Good for all educators, K to 12.

University Transition Program: A Field Study at the University of British ColumbiaDr. Daria Danylchuk

A day’s program, including lunch, will demonstrate a successful rapid acceleration program of 12- to 17-year-old youth in a university setting. Good for administrators, educators, and parents. (5 hours)
Meeting the Needs of Talented ADHD StudentsDr. Ken McCluskey

Rather than over-focusing on the downside, this session will “recast reality” by emphasizing talent identification and development with ADHD children and youth. Good for administrators, educators, and parents. (3 hours)

Cultivating Intellectual Passion through Problem-Based LearningDr. Shelagh Gallagher

This workshop will focus on applications for enhancing learning strategies for a variety of abilities and ages in the classroom. Good for educators and parents. (3 hours)
